Two Dual-CPU 2U Rack Server with Intel Xeon E5-v4 CPUs

  • Ready equipped with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and Hyper-V Replica technology, two interconnected RECT TS-5485MR8 machines are the basic concept for your new server with extended availability. You will get a virtualized instance of Windows Server 2019, pre-configured to be duplicated every five minutes from one physical machine to the other. In addition to this, copies are being made and archived in regular time intervals. The logical interconnection of the two machines is already taken care of before delivery. You will only have to take care of the network connection by cable and then switch over to your new virtual server to adjust it to your needs.

Operating System CALs

In addition to the server licenses, you need licenses for all clients accessing the server (Client Access Licenses). These CALs may be licensed by users (User CALs) or devices (Device CALs). A User CAL is recommended when a user accesses the server with different devices. A Device CAL is favourable when one device is used by different users to access the server. All CALs are downward compatible with earlier releases of Microsoft Server.

  • Remote Desktop Services CALs
    The Microsoft Open License program is a simple, cost-effective way for small and midsize organizations to acquire the latest Microsoft technology. The initial order by new customers has to comprise at least 5 licenses. If you need less than 5 licenses in total, the remainder has to be made up by fill-up licenses to comply with this requirement. RDS CALs are backward compatible with previous Microsoft Windows Server versions.

      Technical support: by e-mail, effective support with initial operation (to be carried out within 30 days after delivery).
      Rapairs: components or the whole system will be repaired or replaced subsequently to reshipment, we will pay the costs for transport and logistics within 30 days after delivery.
    • Pick-Up Warranty
      Technical support: by phone and e-mail, effective support with initial operation, installation and configuration (to be carried out within 30 days after delivery), support with software updates and patches (within the scope of current standard software, throughout the stipulated time period).
      Repairs: pick-up and return service for replacement of defective components or the whole system. Components will be replaced in the form of an advanced warranty replacement with guaranteed express delivery.
    • On-Site (3BD) Warranty
      Technical support: by phone and e-mail with prioritised handling directly after submission, effective support with initial operation, installation and configuration (to be carried out within 30 days after delivery), support with software updates and patches (within the scope of current standard software, throughout the stipulated time period).
